The Smeg SAB4604NR 45cm Dolce Stil Novo Blast Chiller Copper Trim Black is designed for kitchens that need precise temperature management beyond standard refrigeration or oven cooking. As part of Smeg’s Dolce Stil Novo range, it combines black Eclipse glass, copper detailing and a compact 45 cm built-in format for a refined, integrated kitchen appearance.

With a 38.5 L net volume and 3 metal rack shelves, this blast chiller supports a range of food preparation and preservation tasks. Its fan assisted cooling system and electronic temperature control allow the appliance to operate across a wide range from -35°C to 75°C, making it suitable for rapid cooling, deep freezing, preservation, bottle cooling, defrosting, proving and low temperature cooking.

The appliance includes 5 cold functions: bottles cooling, cooling, deep freezing, pre-cooling and preservation. These functions help cool food quickly, reduce time spent at unsafe temperatures and support longer storage quality. Deep freezing is designed to rapidly lower food temperature, helping preserve texture and nutritional qualities more effectively than slower freezing methods.

The 5 warming functions include low temperature cooking, defrost by time, proving, ready to eat and defrost by weight. These options support controlled food preparation, dough leavening, gentle cooking and convenient meal readiness. The removable temperature probe allows accurate monitoring during cooking or cooling cycles.

Operation is managed through a TFT graphic colour touch screen with touch controls. Additional features include an electronic minute minder, digital clock display, chronology for the last 10 functions used, language settings and standard tones.

The stainless steel cavity, LED internal light and automatic cleaning drying cycle support easier maintenance after use. Safety and usability features include door open alarm, safety thermostat, heating suspended when the door is opened, controls lock and child safety function.

With a 270 W electrical connection rating, 2.5 A current and 220 to 240 V power supply, the Smeg SAB4604NR offers a specialised built-in solution for cooling, freezing, preserving and controlled low temperature food preparation.

We can ship 80% of products Australia wide, including Television, Home Entertainment, Cooking, Air Conditioning, Computer Products, Vacuums. Most products generally have their original carton or a generic replacement which allows us to ship your item safely to your door step. We do have limitations on larger Factory Seconds items, e.g.

Fridges, Washers and Dryers due to the carton being removed during the Quality Assurance stage, and generally, we only ship these items to Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast and Newcastle Only. However on request, we can assess the service area and confirm if we can ship to you, or we can also offer you Brand New Fridges and Washers instead.
